Fire Doors
Hollow Metal Shaft Doors, BÖLDT FD-H120
Lift shafts and stairwells up to 120 minutes

Overview
Built for Vertical Shaft Enclosures
Engineered to EN 1634-1 / EN 12101-1 · Manufactured in-house
Heavy-duty hollow metal fire doors engineered for lift shaft enclosures, stairwell entrances and utility risers, where sustained structural integrity and consistent closing performance are critical. The honeycomb core provides a rigid, lightweight infill that maintains door flatness over the service life of the building while delivering fire ratings up to 120 minutes. Single leaf configuration as standard, powder-coated in standard colours, with other colours available for larger orders. Colour codes on request.
Lift shafts & stairwell enclosures
Under Approved Document B and BS 9999, lift shaft and stairwell enclosures in most buildings require fire-resisting doorsets rated EI 60, rising to EI 120 for firefighting shafts and taller buildings. BÖLDT hollow metal shaft doors are tested to EN 1634-1 and classified to EN 13501-2 to satisfy both thresholds from a single product range. Confirm the required period against the current Approved Document B and BS 9999 for the specific building.
