Fire Curtains
Fixed Fire Curtains — BÖLDT FC-F240
Permanent Compartmentation for Shafts and Voids

Overview
Where Closure is Permanent, Not Conditional
Engineered to EN 1634-1 / EN 12101-1 · Manufactured in Jaipur
Fixed fire curtains use the same fire-resistant fabric system as BÖLDT's automatic and accordion curtains, mounted permanently within a powder-coated steel frame for openings that require constant fire-rated separation rather than a curtain that deploys on alarm. Rated up to 240 minutes and tested to EN 1634-1, fixed fire curtains provide a lightweight, low-maintenance alternative to masonry or board infill panels for service voids, redundant openings and permanent shaft closures.
Application
Where This Curtain is Specified
- —Decommissioned or redundant openings within fire-rated walls
- —Service voids and risers that do not require regular access
- —Permanent infill panels in curtain wall and atrium framing systems
- —Lightweight alternatives to masonry infill where structural loading is a constraint
Maintenance
Minimal Ongoing Requirements
As fixed fire curtains have no moving parts, ongoing maintenance is limited to periodic visual inspection of the fabric panel and frame seals as part of the building's routine fire safety inspection regime.
