Every BÖLDT fire door and fire curtain is designed, fabricated, finished and tested within a single integrated facility, so quality is controlled at every stage rather than outsourced.

BÖLDT is a brand of Window Techs India Private Limited. There is no UK-incorporated BÖLDT company. Goods are manufactured in Jaipur and supplied for UK and EU projects.

Tested to EN 1634-1, EN 12101-1 and EN 13501-2, the standards European specifiers require. Manufactured entirely in-house at our own 111,000 sq ft facility, with no import dependency and no third-party vendor in the chain. Delivered as one source for both fire doors and fire curtains, where most specifiers coordinate two.
European testing rigour, delivered without European lead times. Our products are tested to EN 1634-1 and EN 12101-1, classified to EN 13501-2, and independently verified by Efectis and TÜV SÜD, backed by the response times, documentation support and site coordination of a manufacturer that controls its own production end to end. Automated Production
CNC-driven manufacturing across both product lines. Fire doors: CNC notching, punching, bending, and powder coating using European machinery. Fire curtains: Italian-imported multi-axis punching (0.05mm accuracy), multi-axis bending (±0.05°), and a dedicated 25-metre automatic sewing machine, the world's longest of its kind. Every unit formed to exact specification.

Tested Performance
Fire doors tested to EN 1634-1 and classified to EN 13501-2. Fire and smoke curtains tested to EN 1634-1, EN 12101-1 and EN 15269-11, independently verified by Efectis and TÜV SÜD. Random in-house furnace tests are run continuously at our own factory, so performance is verified in production, not only at certification.

Fully integrated in-house production from design to dispatch, with no dependency on third-party vendors. Every stage is tracked and controlled within our own facility, keeping your project schedule intact at every phase.

BÖLDT supports projects across the UK, Europe and India through a network of authorised partners. Our team stays with a project from initial specification through to installation, commissioning and after-sales service, whether a single doorset, a single curtain, or a large multi-zone installation.
Equipment
CNC and Italian-Origin Machinery
Both product lines run on CNC equipment: European-origin machines for fire doors, Italian-imported precision equipment for fire curtains. Every tolerance is held by machine, not by hand.
CNC notching and punching machines of European origin for fire door fabrication
CNC bending to exact tolerances, holding door leaf flatness within ±0.5mm across full height
CNC-controlled powder coating oven for uniform deposit, optimal density and precise baking time
Italian-imported multi-axis CNC punching for fire curtain components at 0.05mm positional accuracy
Multi-axis CNC bending for curtain head box and guide rail profiles at ±0.05° angular accuracy
Dedicated 25-metre automatic sewing machine for fire curtain fabric assembly
In-house furnace testing, with random production samples tested against EN 1634-1 continuously, not only at certification stage
